Course Specific Information

Required Production Attendance

You will be required to see 1-2 plays during the term.  Information on the plays assigned, dates of performance and cost will be listed in the syllabus.  In general, tickets will range in price from $15-20 and there will be several options for dates of attendance.  Students who reside outside the San Diego area will choose plays to see in their area upon instructor approval.

Attendance

There is a great deal to cover during the term and it is necessary that you plan enough time into your schedule for all required activities.  The curriculum for 16 weeks is condensed into 8 weeks.  As a guideline it is suggested that you login to the class at least 3 times per week. Reading and writing activities will probably take a minimum of 15-20 hours per week.  It is important to keep up with the schedule. This is not a self-paced course.  Assignment deadlines will be strictly enforced and points will be deducted for late submissions.
