Textbook and Course Material Requirements

The required textbook can be purchased at the San Diego City College Bookstore or the SDCCD Online Bookstore.  The text – Marquee Series - Microsoft Office 2007 – Windows Vista Edition  (ISBN 978-0-76383-135-6) by Rutkosky and Seguin is published by EMC Paradigm.  There are two versions of this text – one with Windows Vista and one with Windows XP (ISBN 978-0-76382-958-2)   It does not matter which one you purchase as you will not be covering the windows operating system in this course.  The Office 2007 sections (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) are the sections we will cover.   Please see information under Hardware and Software Requirements to be sure you purchase the correct version of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007.  You have a wonderful opportunity to purchase the complete version (which includes Access) from the California Community Colleges Foundation.  There is a cheaper student version, but it does not include Access, so please be sure that you have the version with Access.
