Course Specific Information

Students must log into their course through WebCT the first day of the session or they may be dropped. Students must have basic computer skills. Students with no online course experience should enroll in CBTE 160A and/or attend an optional student orientation session held on campus. Visit SDCCD ONLINE website for more information and tutorials.

This is a 16-week course.  The class will require six to nine hours of studying each week. Students who take this class must be self-motivating and goal-orientated to complete this course.

This is not a self-paced course; students must meet reading, homework, and test deadlines. You will have access to the syllabus and schedule the first day of class. No late work is accepted. Purchase your textbook by the first day of classes so you don't fall behind.

Students must have a reliable internet connection and Microsoft Word. I recommend that students have a computer back-up plan just in case they experience problems with their computer or the internet. There are no excuses for late work in this course.
