Brief Description:
This presentation will provide a comprehensive overview of the Epsilen Environment. Epsilen is a new generation of software that provides wide-ranging tools and services providing students and professionals a complete solution for their day-to-day learning, teaching, and networking needs. Epsilen contains applications for ePortfolio development, Global Learning System management, Learning Matrix assessment, email, blog, Wiki, and Web 2.0 capabilities. These tools are designed for group collaboration, object sharing and lifelong repository, social and professional networking, and career management. This presentation will also discuss how to use the Epsilen Environment to engage in cross-region, cross-campus, and multi-course collaborations. Techniques of using teaching and learning tools in Epsilen to strike a balance between social networking and academic achievement will be demonstrated. Student reflections will also be shared.
