Online Learning Readiness Assessment

 

To find out if you have the technical and student skills necessary to succeed with online learning, take the Online Learning Readiness Assessment below. Upon submission, you will be provided with feedback based on your results. The following twenty questions will help determine if you are ready for online learning.

 
1. My reason for taking an online course is because:
  My career and/life circumstances prevents me from attending traditional classes.
  I think an online course will be easier than a traditional course.
  I am curious about what an online course is like.
     
2. How often can you log into your online course?
  Every day.
  As often as required.
  Once or twice a week.
     
3. How much time will you spend studying and interacting with your online course?
  As much time as it takes to complete the course.
  The same amount of time as a traditional campus class.
  Less time than a traditional campus class, because it will be easier.
     
4. How do you rate traditional classroom discussion with an Instructor and other students?
  I can communicate effectively through email, discussion boards, and chat rooms.
  It is an important and essential aspect of my educational experience.

5. When the instructor hands out directions for an assignment
